    MK2 Chassis rail repair

Neutrarust is excellent but ££. Or any good rust treatment ( krust ) . Me personally would fab the plates with double fold so they fit to bottom of car floor. And wrap around chassis section. Hope this makes sence. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

    MK2 Chassis rail repair

Yep that's an easy fix, grind it all back to good metal, add rust protection, fab up New cover plates in 2mm mild steel and weld it all up, simples Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk

    Servo connections

No servo pipework must come direct from inlet manifold. Oil separator should be left as is. Other wise u run the risk of oil mist entering the servo body. Internal rubber servo rubber won't like oil. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

    Electric Fuel Pump Position

In the pic the earth wire goes to black bracket. But yet bracket is rubber mounted off shock support. Be much better to run it direct to car floor. Incase of issues regarding earthing. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

Or just move it into boot. Easier maintenance. And saves all the road crap getting at it[emoji41] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

Why u mounting it upside down Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
  8. Yep. Surprised me too, when I started designing this project, but after a while of getting info and measuring up a friend's sierra, and trawling the interweb for details. Only got 20mm to factor in on wheel offset. As I want the wheel tyre combo to fill the arch fully. Without adding arches, Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk
  9. Rear sierra track is only 20mm wider than fiesta track. Front is going to be made up of. Sierra crossmember with mk2 escort TCA. Fitted to grp4 coilover struts, by my measurements that will also work out at 20mm wider. Just will need to measure up when I decide what wheels I'm gona be running. Don't want go fitting arches. Wana keep it looking sleeper ish. [emoji48] Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk
  10. Haven't sorted anything as yet. I have used speedy cables loads of times before. Might be worth a call to check. I add it to my list of things to do. Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk
  11. List of parts so far. Rear sierra cosworth rear beam, brakes. And brand new gaz coilovers with 185 lbs springs. Rose jointed rear antiroll bar drop links, refurb lsd diff, sierra cosworth front crossmember and new power steering rack. Zx9r carbs. Rx8 gearbox. To name just a few bits I've got. Looking forward to the build Sent from my SM-T560 using Tapatalk

    Electric Fuel Pump Position

As for the ticking noise they make. Either ur exhaust is too quiet or ur not reving it hard enough. To still be able to hear the pump. [emoji32] Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk

    Electric Fuel Pump Position

Would always mount um in boot. Saves on ease of maintenance and filter cleaning. And of course makes up a nice boot install. If done correctly. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk
