XR2 CLOCKS!

Recommended Posts

making another topic again haha...

just wonderin if the mk1 xr2 clocks will fit straight in my 1.1 quartz with any modifications.

I know physically they will go in, but will any modifications need to be made for wiring etc??

ALSO, does anyone else seem to have a fuel gauge that has a mind of its own?? when i accelerate the needle goes down and when i brake it goes up :?

I put XR2 Clocks in my Fiesta.. I got a local auto electrician to do it for £20, but you have to add a wire from the Coil Negative for the rev counter and swap all the wires round in the pin if I remember rightly

They definitely won't pin straight in anyway

It's best to get the multi plug, the wires come out and can be refitted into the right positions on the new one so no cutting.

Does the fuel gauge move much? If its only a little bit they all do, mine can change by up to quarter of a tank if im thrashing it. Hills will also make it change.
