1300E resto number 2

heater unit re-assembled today, as well as having all the parts plated, the unit now has a genuine Ford NOS heater matrix fitted (another hens teeth item)

theyre built to give a nice comfortable ride and built to last, unlike the lowered Burtons junk thats had to be uprated to cope with your tiny lightweight little car, and your acrophobic mind set Nick, and they still move around in the strut tied in, no substitute for the real thing mate

They must have been an incredible find. Did they cost you a lot? (Please post an image on all four limbs attached to your body)

Did the 1300E's effectively use Twincam / MK1 RS struts or do these have a different size stub axle?

yes they were a good find, they came from Germany, they were just over £300 delivered, couldn't refuse them tbh, as mine were very badly corroded

the 1300E uses 1300GT suspension, not RS, these are the pre OCT 73 struts, exact to what the car should have, after OCT 73, the struts along with a lot of other things changed, that included the shell
