Once the seats and carpets were removed it showed that the floors and seat cross members were totally shot

I fabricated a rollover jig once I found some points that weren't rusted through

Only issue was the dimensions of the crossmember mounting holes differed to the original. So nuts were ground of holes welded and redrilled. Then new M12 nuts welded in place. Waiting for delivery of new Avo inner wings so will update when work starts.

Repair put into the footwell then cut out old inner wing. Just in time for new ones to turn up from a magnum. Offered up and they fit really well.

This is where i am so far.rolling with brakes and the glass is in.the shell was in a bit of a state tho but we didn't have magnum panels to play with-inner wings,complete floor,etc.lot of work.be good when its finished

Been taken in by a few of those over the years myself. "But she was a stunner when I left the club at 2am" sort of thing. To be fair "she" was probably thinking the same thing :lol:
