Xflow type9

Recommended Posts

Hoping someone can shed some light on my problem. Have type9 and xflow fitted just swapped engines over. And when all bolted up we put socket on lower pulley and it seemed really tight to turn over. Checked it was out If gear and such like ... difference on engine new one has steel crank ? Could the opening in the end be to small for the type 9 shaft ?? I'm lost in and out three times thinking we'd done something wrong ..... cheers

More than likely a starter motor / flywheel ring gear problem! All of the gearbox input shaft noses are the same across many gearboxes so use the same spigot bearing.

I love it when someone asks a question, gets a response, and doesn't even follow it up!
