Sorry you couldn't meet Daisy but she was in car park 10, due to the size of her legs we couldn't get a wrist band round them. With all the jobsworths about the NEC they wouldn't permit her in!! Must agree on your thoughts on Ray's car though its stunning and to be on the same stand as it is a pleasure. Just a pity we have to put up with Gary's poor wit and his ocd. But only one day left, be glad to get back to people who can speak proper English !!....LOL

Yeah no wot you mean ... speaking proper sarfie lingo now i is at ome wiff the trouble and strife . Lol

Hi.

Quick hello from us, sitting in Birmingham Airport waiting. It was a great show and hopefully we will be back. Really nice to meet you guys at the stand, and have a good chat. Your cars are awesome and catched loads of attention. Visiting the show confirmed us, that the classic car and bike scene is growing bigger each year. Got a couple of tips from Colin that I'll try on the Escort during winter

Thanks

Well got back in from the NEC, think the day was a resounding success with comments on the cars amount of people taking photos. Really good response to the flyers and enquirys on the forum and what we do. Ray again continuously answering questions on his car and people asking for advise. Thanks to Gary for sorting the stand out, well done mate, but to be honest glad to get away from you !!!.....LOL It was just like going abroad. Listening to you lot, good job I'm educated and multi lingual otherwise we would have been knackered. Ray and myself saw an opportunity to get away before the mass exit so we took it. But unfortunately didn't get chance to sat tarra to Gary and thank him. So tarra and thanks Gary ! Would say it was a pleasure meeting you three but I assure you it wasn't ha ha. It is with great regret I have to say hope to see you soon.....WELL DONE LADS

glad to see you made it home ok Colin, I got back to the yard about 9-30, it really was a pleasure meeting you, with that gift of the gab you could become an adopted sarfie lol, likewise, glad to be home, and again from this end, a big thank you to Gary, and may he have a happy retirement from it, Stephen, Kelly whatever your name lol, hope you had a good trip back and thanks for allowing Colin and myself to slope off

it was a great experience for me, and hope to see you all again

Was a fun four days, loved meeting you all and loved all of the cars, ours and the shows - lots of awesome stuff and glad i was there for the duration as it was a cracking experience, one i would gladly repeat in 2018 - here's hoping Gary gives us a shot at it if he doesn't want the job himself again?

I will learn sign language for next year, to help Ray out and come to think of it Col as well i suppose, save money on translating Northern monkey into Southern twat...

Yes i think Ray was King of the stand, his stupid 1300 E just got loads of attention, and rightly so very period correct no attention to detail missed.

Was a good blend of differing cars, two escorts yes, but both very different beasts. And the Tina is a stunner, very, very cool.

And good to see khanlad and Leo.. There obviously were others, but i did like a wander so missed most visitors.

Glad you've put an input in about the show, better late than never I suppose....bit like your time keeping on the stand....LOL

glad you got home ok. Did the Cappa perform ok ?

Yeah, i can't sit still, so much to go and look at. I thought i was OSF hardcore on the Sunday though?....

Yeah the fat girl got me home without issue, gear box sounds a bit dry and noisy, I'll have to try putting some of that oil stuff in it that is mentioned in all the manuals...

Good fun, look forward to catching up with you again soon.

Oh yeah, and the gods must love a classic car as it was dry on trip up and dry on trip home. Can't ask for more than that in November.

I thought I was doing well, got within 3 miles of home and it peed down. So it gone in the garage dirty ready to be stripped.

had to have my tyres cleaned this morning tho Colin, luckily it was only the tyres that copped it, the car park you was in started to get busy, reckon I would have blocked it

700 miles from new I think.

We get several of those on Ebay every week. They even make sure the fingerprints have been removed from the odometer dials for authenticity.

Here you go, 900 miles not 700.

RS2000

And if that isn't eye watering enough, the RS500 sold for over £115k

RS500

A few surprises though, a concourse RS1600 unsold as was a mk1 Lotus Cortina

Still ridiculous prices though. XR3 Cabrios fetching 16 grand on average wow!

The yellow RS1600 was nice. I would have gone for it than the Mk2 RS2000 but even at 77k its simply too much.

Leaving the EU is certainly effecting the prices of these then ? ...or is it ? ...could be like most things their blaming on it, makes prices go UP !!! So come on lads get them sold before we leave the EU or the DVLA man cometh !...LOL
