Toby Kent's Mk1 Cortina attracts a lot of attention. And looking like this I'm not surprised.
Here's the spec: Pre-crossflow built on an L block. 3D machined head for perfect chamber replication accross the cylinders. RS200 BDT pistons (85.6mm) with the tops machined off to loose the bowls. Stroker Dug Kiddie crank. Arrow Rods. Race steel cam. Thin stem followers! Tran X diff for strength with large shafts. 180 + Bhp (Sanspeeds rollers showed 201bhp but I think that reads a little high) Toby says
Recently having boken so many pinto gear boxes I have made every cog in the box as straight cut gears from alloy tool steel. This meant I could choose my ratios. Whilst I was at it I made it a dog box. Join in the discussion and view more pictures
