  3. Mk1 or mk2 escort never had abs. Sent from my SM-S711B using Tapatalk
  4. Ok, reading a little on it I see they use the ABS for speed But that is for the sensor only, how you mounting the reluctor ring
  5. Hi graham It's only fitment is run on mk1 and mk2 escorts if you are running mx5 or rx6 gearboxes as they dont have any form of speedo cable fitment. As its controlled by the mazda ecu. And so need a speed sensor that picks up on front hub bolts as a way to determine speed once connected to a aftermarket dash. Hope this explains things. Sent from my SM-S711B using Tapatalk
  6. Ok if you are using it just for speed into a digi dash, although I would also consider one of the inline speed sensors that go in the speedo cable. What are you using for the trigger wheel? Just make sure you dont use it for any for of traction control, I know a guy who did that on an F1 car at a test, driver was told to floor it and let the ECUs control it, the rears spun up but the fronts were not moving so the ECM put more power into the rear wheels till it hit the wall, not sure if there was more smoke from the tyres on the car or from the guy leaving the facility 🤣
  7. Has anyone got any front seat bases knocking about? Mines cooked. Or even better, brown sport front seats. My interior cloth isn’t standard.

  9. If it improves owners who’d require this, then it’s a win. Innovative or not. Someone has taken the time to offer it.
  10. Updated pic of bracket. This one is zink. New ones are 316 stainless, Because of someone not being fully informed of its intended use and fitment. Sent from my SM-S711B using Tapatalk
  11. Thanks dave. I purchased the zink one to fit to my project. But found the quality not as I'd expect. So I thought. Let make it from 316 stainless, so it would last. Then I thought maybe someone else would like this sensor bracket in stainless. Cheers Sent from my SM-S711B using Tapatalk

  13. If you need this it is good that it is available but I wouldn't say copying a bracket (small piece of metal with 3 holes) innovative work. AI generated description seems to be quite common these days.
  14. Great to see some innovative work that brings some value to owners who’d use this.👏🏻👏🏻
  15. ideal if your running a zetec in your mk1 or 2 with a mazda mx5 or rx7 gearbox, and aftermarket dash, as you will need this to run a speed sensor off front wheels.
  16. no con. i purchased the zink one, then had them made in stainless steel, as there would be no rust issues, the weld on bolts, just allow you to remove steering arm bracket without removing brake disc, for futher work. the speed sensor bracket is req to read speed if using another form of dashboard, as i am running DASH2
  17. Is this AI generated? Why would any mk1 or mk2 owner require a speed sensor bracket for a non existant speed sensor ? ? ? And the 1st picture shows said bracket fitted to a hub, with cap head screws that are welded to the bracket (well that ain't coming off!) but the whole thing - bracket, bolts and weld are Zinc Plated, how as the bolts are welded . . . . . . . . but why? - its stainless steel ! Looks like a con to me!
