  1. I had the re, re, re Dyno run today, at Jon Wood race engines in Eastbourne. I had changed the exhaust manifold , and did the advance map correctly this time🙄 It made 160 bhp and 150 torque. That's 21 more bhp, and massive gains in torque. So I'm well pleased with that. Thanks to Jon Wood 👍 VID_20201029_103028.mp4

  2. Tonight with help from a mate we separated & removed the exhaust, removed the gearbox & transferred the xflow engine from crane to stand & took off sump - now I need a plan plus a long period of cleaning I think 🤔

  3. It now looks like this sadly. I had a severe accident. It suffered a lot of neglect as I couldn'tlook after her. Then it had a series of people I paid to work on it that did poor or shoddy work. Eventually I rattle can painted it black to suit my mood. Now I am slowly working through the thing including changing the carburation, softening the suspension, fitting power steering and windows, lots of sound proofing, a headliner, led lights, an entirely new paint colour and a little welding. 5. Today (b4 the welder) Daisy passed her MOT with x1 advisory (Minor leak of exhaust gases from exhaust manifold) This is fantastic news & just like ‘you all’ have said there’s a huge difference between MOT welding & restoration needs. I wanted an independent assessment on Daisy as safety & the car being roadworthy is of paramount importance to me, now I can continue with carrying out ‘running repairs’ whilst planning bigger projects thro the coming winter. Thanks to you all in OSF who have helped me prepare Daisy it is b’cos of your help knowledge & experience that th

  6. No more chrome 😳 it’s only original once! Daisy the 1300GT was born with chrome sill covers, chrome around the windows, dazzling hub cap surrounds & chrome boot frame. They are now weathered, worn & dented & have caused corrosion so I’ve removed them & today she went to the welder. Good or bad? What you say 🤔

  14. Seeing as Jo mentioned things need improving I decided to update again. Since my last post I bought another Rs2000 propshaft. Which also failed. So I bit the bullet and bought a Grp4 Fabrications new one. Expensive but I am sick of problems with em. And the exhaust needs a skid on the silencer as it catches and pulls the pipe loose. Did that today. Will make a wee bit of clearance between the gearbox bellhousing and the bulkhead while under it. Photos when I figure out how. Comments welcome. Thanks.
