How many 4wd mk1 fiestas am I building lol

Hate to be a sheep, but if he could manage to add me to the list that would bring the price down a bit more 😁. As it happens I have all the running gear from a Mk 3 focus RS, gearbox, transfer box, prop, complete rear axle/subframe and front disks and calipers which I could throw in. Was going to use the rear end to create a RWD Focus Mk 1, but after I bought it I suddenly realised that the rear diff is electronic wizardry that doesn't actually do anything unless it's plugged into a computer. Stupid boy Pike!

If my numbers came up I'd definitely have one to nip around in while I give my car to Carey @notenoughtime for a full resto. Is it a Mk2 Escort? No. Is it a nice rep build? Yes. I suppose its similar to buying a Caterham 520s really. Sealed it and bolted it up yesterday, and turned it all back up the right way. just need to sort out the dipstick and fill it with oil, but I'll do that when it's in the car. Today I mainly fecked around with the spigot bearing, or, to be more accurate, struggled to get it out. Starte with the grease pressure method but it didn't want to know, so tried a bolt and nut to force it out and that didn't work either. So I attempted to use a metal punch to carefully try and pry it out, but, no that didn't work either. So I returned to the grease pressure method, and after about 10 minutes of tap

The good thing is a MK1 Focus RS Is meant to be able to take wrc 4wd setup without any mods, not that I’ve looked into it though! Or have the rear diff etc as not many about lol
