No.... that's what the family mk2 estate is for. The mex is my toy.

So 5 years on, many break downs, 10000 miles ish, 3 alternators, many shows and events and 1 rubbish trophy...... It's time for some more welding and paint. As I went to check up on the car and fit another alternator, I noticed some rusty looking bubbles. Also a leaking brake line that had caused the paint to lift along the chassis rail. Waiting to here back from the restoration chaps to repair and paint. Then went for a short essential drive to test the new alternator 😉

World Cup Rally 50th anniversary from last year, hosted at the British Motor Museum, has now been postponed again this year, the hope to hold the event in 2022.

Duchy Capri club classic ford show due in May has been cancelled.

As it stands, there are no plans for this event in 2021.

Well whilst I sit here and compose a list of events for 2021 I wonder is there any point. But here is a list of whats been announced so far. No plans for club stands as yet but you never know. These are Ford only events. All subject to change. Only show we will get to this year. Hosted by the South Devon Railway. Found a lovely corsair estate. Few other fords (see pics) and a nice collection of royal mail bikes.
