  1. Happy New year. Be good to catch up in 2017.
  2. Looks awesome! Where did you get the 1/4s?
  3. Hi. Did you get your v5? How long did it take? My cortinas imported from France and dvla are now saying they want a sgs check. I'm putting the original wheels on and putting it back to standard ride height as I don't want any more hassle.
  4. Well it turns out they have got the paperwork and now want the car inspected by sgs. Big thanks to vista for helping out with the paperwork.
  5. I was never sent a form but have the nova ref no. I'm so mad at myself for not sending it recorded, got carried away with lotus steels and lowering blocks!
  6. Hi everybody. Finally got another osf, 1963 mk1 cortina lhd originally from France. Have been waiting to hear back from dvla so called them today and they've no record of any paperwork being sent. I stupidly sent it unrecorded and only now have a copy of the uk mot. The French log book and all other documents have been lost. They told me to resubmit the v55 but I've no paperwork. Being a club can the vin be used to prove build date etc. HELP!
  7. My dad had an early sd1 3500 in brown when I was a kid. I was cleaning it for some pocket money and managed to knock it out of park. It rolled across the road and through the neighbors garage!
  8. Sold this morning. hope it gets well loved.
  9. Cheers jo, it's a shame as I really wanted to get back out and about this year but Im now going to have a little baby girl talking up my time.
  10. Hi, i'm selling my pop due to having a baby on its way. Me and my dad have owned this for the past 7 years and its only been on the road for 1. Its just passed its mot and i only did 250 miles in it last year. Over the past 7 years its been built up using many new parts. Here's a brief description, 1961 ford popular, bare metal repaint 4 years ago in 2k black, OFAS fibreglass front wings and front panel, new door and boot handles, new lights all round, new window rubbers, inside has new door cards and rear seat cover from aldridge trimming, New headlining in black, cobra classic buckets, harness belts, fully dyna matted, Cd player with speakers hidden in rear shelf, Tach with shift light, Rally design wheel and pedels. 2.0 pinto with injection head, Weber dgv carb, modified 4 branch and escort system, H&H dizzy, Rs2000 alloy rad, filter king, electric fuel pump in boot, type 9 5 speed, alloy bellhousing, quick shift. capri front end, new springs, Rose jointed tcas, Compression struts, 105E axle, Spax shocks, poly bushes. Willwood 4 pots all round + master cylinder. new superlites 5.5 front 7in rear. There's most likely some bits ive forgotten. There is a few little marks in the paint but tiny, there is no carpet as i never got round to it, and it could do with a better front screen. If you are interested i suggest you come and view. Its very clean underneath and will be missed but it was great fun putting it together with my dad over the years. £6750 ono car is in east sussex 07795438569. Cheers Kahn.
