Someone was talking to old mutton chops at a Mini show as he took along the one they did. He admitted they did the design work but had a team to do most of the hands on stuff. The buyers were all fictional too as he kept the Mini for himself. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  2. Not even going to get Christmas Day at the beach looking at the weather. Hope it comes down hard to dampen everything down. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  3. Yes we're staying put here. There's been some bad smoke days down here but it's nothing compared to what some people are going through. As you say, devastating for the wildlife too. Mad to think that a lot of these have been started deliberately. What goes through people's minds? Stay safe. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  4. Hope you're staying safe @Rally Pack 2000. Truly terrible times for rural NSW. Have a great Christmas everyone. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  5. I was always a 6R4 fan having had a couple of MG Metros as my first cars. That n/a v6 growl was the best group B noise. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  6. Yes I can see why people's backs would get up. Funnily enough some of the worst are ex-pats. We've been here 6 months now and I think she's finally starting to win people over now they can see results from things being implemented. We've been up to Gosford this morning where she had a meeting and they were all talking about the fires. The problem we have around our way at home right now is flooding so if you need any water I know where there's some going spare. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  7. Business practices. I'll not say which company it is but when she was asked to come out here she knew there'd be a few challenges but don't think she realised how many and how much resistance there'd be. They don't seem to see she's out here to help the business get on a sure footing, protect it and grow from there. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  8. Can't believe the prices of old British stuff. Seen a lovely Rover P6 V8 for $6k in a fetching poo brown. There's an option of another 2 years but think the wife will be burnt out and had enough by then even though she's always loved Australia and lived here before in her 20's. She's finding Aussies aren't the easiest to re-educate. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  9. 2 year visa so here for a while. Wife's job has brought us out here so I'm doing the house husband thing. We're in an apartment so as much as I'd love to get an old motor it doesn't make sense to. We only need the 1 car if I'm not working. The bad thing is the longer I'm away from my Escort the more I think about selling it when I get back. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  10. So you should you peasant. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  11. Yes we have a great view of the bridge but the other week was bad with the smoke. Took a few days before it cleared up. Didn't really smell smokey though. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  12. I'm living in Neutral Bay on the North Shore. Had a weekend in Leura not long back. Beautiful up there. Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  13. I was just reading they'd given a 'Catastrophic' fire warning level for the Blue Mountains. If you want to bring your Fords down to me to look after for 'a while' then I really don't mind. [emoji848] Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  14. You going to be safe this week @Rally Pack 2000 with the fire warnings? Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
  15. I have the same problem on Tapatalk. It works fine on other forums though so not sure what the issue is.
