  1. Bita progress on the A post over last while. Put hinge panel on door to locate before welding. Gaps not to bad to quarter panel and swage line looks good. Got the outer panel on then and now looking at outer sill. Wondering to overlap sill and lower A post or cut and butt weld.? Obviously if overlap will have edge which don't want. 2. Some more progress over last month.. Got floor welded in more or less. Working on A post and removed hinge post to tidy up and epoxy prime. Test fitted outer and inner panels and fit good so will get hinge post back in and screw together and test doors. ALSO my Xflow is back with me after rebuild. [emoji16]. 1660 with 1300 GT pistons and race head, 244 cam. ALSO bought a decent heater cause tis feckin freezing. [emoji33] Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
  3. Took off heater bubble and sorted lower lip. Time to push on now with inner A posts then get the floor in and outer A posts and lower bulkhead. Thanks to Damien McLaughlin for some good advice from an expert. Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
  4. Collect few panels today and tried them on for size. Great to see few holes filled and that beautiful front grill lookin at me again after a long long time. [emoji16] Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk

  11. Some work.. I can't even make the same progress on 1 that you make on 3.. [emoji849] Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
  12. Ya true.. was hoping bending the 2 half's like original would give more strength as chassis. Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
  13. Thanks Johnny Boy. Ya really enjoying it so far. Went for full floor in end as though might be easier for an inexperienced lad like me. Lookin to make up these repair bits from 2mm for chassis now but struggling to make bends. Will have to make homemade bending machine I think. Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
  14. Few bits done over the weekend. Cut out bits on Swan neck and skin off A post. Post itself looks ok. Looking to make repair section for chassis swan neck. Looks like will have to make up bender. Anyone do this repair before? Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
  15. Good stuff. I have the A post to do as well after floor and front chassis leg repair but hoping it's just the outer post skin and door jam and post itself is ok. Great thread keep up the pics and so will I. Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
