  1. Ya true.. was hoping bending the 2 half's like original would give more strength as chassis. Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
  2. Thanks Johnny Boy. Ya really enjoying it so far. Went for full floor in end as though might be easier for an inexperienced lad like me. Lookin to make up these repair bits from 2mm for chassis now but struggling to make bends. Will have to make homemade bending machine I think. Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
  3. Few bits done over the weekend. Cut out bits on Swan neck and skin off A post. Post itself looks ok. Looking to make repair section for chassis swan neck. Looks like will have to make up bender. Anyone do this repair before? Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
  4. Good stuff. I have the A post to do as well after floor and front chassis leg repair but hoping it's just the outer post skin and door jam and post itself is ok. Great thread keep up the pics and so will I. Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
  5. Great progress Pooley in a short time. And learning to weld at the same time. Im still only taking old floor out.! Was the A post that bad that it had to be removed.? Will the new sill come up to bottom of A post now.?
  6. Thanks ya maybe full floor right way to go. Front legs and awful price ya so will try repair with 2mm steel I think. Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
  7. Bit more cutting today and recovering some bits. What are peoples opinion on fitting full floor or just from rear seat bracket forward as floor not bad behind bracket. Also on the front chassis legs do they look repairable or replace? Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
  8. Started on floor. Plan to do floor and chassis rails first.. Then sills and A posts. Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
  9. Great thanks will have a look Sent from my MAR-LX1A using Tapatalk
