  5. About 5 years ago I posted a want ad here for a 1600 XF for my Mk1 and got really lucky. Can't remember who I bought it off but it was a lovely 1700 build with a nice cam etc and worked head. Anyway, another project, another request. So thought I would try again. Is anyone about to, or has already, swapped out a good 1600 /1700 for a Pinto or Zetec conversion and got one up for grabs. 1600/1700 I'm not too fussy as long as it's good............or...... A 1600 that is complete that maybe needs or would benefit from a rebuild? Not too worried about ancillaries as long as it's a full

Lovely 2.0 Pinto mated to a 5 speed for more comfortable motorway use. Interior and engine bay are also in superb condition. Alloys in excellent condition with good tread on the tyres. MOT to May 2016. This will qualify for free road tax front next year which is also nice. Viewing recommended. Location Guildford

  8. At flipping last. It's finally finished. Well, MOT sort of finished. Ideally needs lowering a bit and need to remortgage the house to put a set of roll tops in in place of the Recaros Only taken 5 years! Now I'm bored. Next...............
  9. Bastards. Will keep look out as only in Guildford. That reminds me, must get a tracker fitted.
  10. My resto is taking shape after sitting for over 4 years. I have spent the last 2 weeks working solid on it in an effort to get it finished this year. It now has new paint which just requires flatting and polishing. The door locks are the ones below the door handle and the lock barrel holes have the 4 notches in them meaning the smaller type barrels are a no go. Before searching like mad for the correct diameter barrels with keys, are there any better options from a security point of view? Not too fussed about originality, more interested in better security. saw somewhere about Sol
  11. Sunday night bump. Open to offers. Got too many cars here.
