Just had a look what filter we used last and it was a black Fram PH2857A Filter Dunno seems like its getting realy high oil pressure when starting, its right at the top of the oil pressure gauge?

Yeah a nice smear of oil on the seal before putting it on It used to have the white motorcraft oil filter on it, dont know if thats any better make? It has had to different types of filter on it now and both blew the oil seal

My 2.1 pinto keeps blowing out the oil filter rubber seal since we changed the oil!? It has an uprated oil pump but we noticed the sump gasket bolts were loose! so tightened them up, did the oil change and filter and it ran fine for about a day. Then next morning blew the oil seal out an lost 2ltrs of oil on the road Took off the oil filter cleaned it all up check it, reseated the seal on the filter put it back on, filled with oil and then later on same thing again!! So yesterday i went back to the place i got the oil filter from and they said they couldnt understand why it would do it and put it down to maybe a dodgy oil filter? So with a new oil filter put that on, again filled up with MORE oil and tryed it. It worked great all yesterday and seemed to do the trick, but this morning i got in it to go to work and IT'S HAPPENED AGAIN!! Any ideas!?........
