Near Newport south Wales Price I've no idea let's say £800 but I can't find any others for sale to get an idea I'm'clearing my storage out due to my upcoming emigration and have these parts to sell, I've had them over 20 years and probably never going to get around to using them RS2000 sump (no pickup pipe) RS2000 alloy bellhousing ( with clutch fork) RS2000 engine mounts Ive looked online and can only find a LHD sump for sale for £275 , I know they make repo parts but these are obviously genuine , what are they worth, I have one guy interested ( saw his wanted ad ) but I haven't talked a price with him yet . Does any Old Skool Ford Forum member out there have any sources, contacts or leads to a Lotus Cortina Mk2 (not Mk1) Speedometer? I've seen the old 2016 posting from another Forum member, looking for Lotus Cortina Mk2 speedo & tacho. Never saw an answer as to whether he found a source. Please respond thru the Forum if you know of a source. Thanks.

So as well as my Capri I took the plunge & bought this 4 door Escort. 1979, history from what I see is that it was bought new and passed over to the owner's wife in '94, then sold in 2005 and beyond that details are sketchy. But, it has an MOT until August '16, and plenty of small tweaks. New clutch, 1300 Crossflow, new Weber ICH34 carb, lowered 2" on single leafs at the rear, polybushed front end, and a 4 branch manifold, makes it sound faster than it goes, and front seat Recaros. It has a minor oil leak from the sump gasket (job to do) and the carb still needs tweaking but getting there. As my first dip into Escort territory it's a good start, it goes well (nothing like my Capri though) & a fairly smooth ride. Plans are to reinstate the chrome trim & paint the rear wheels, but the bodywork is solid & is worth keeping like it is, something cool about a ratty looking more door. Just need to enjoy it for the moment!

Greetings. I have a 1975 Mk2 1300 Ghia 4 doors. It's been resting in my garage for 11 years and is in great condition and does actually run. I think the time has come to pass it on to someone who can do a first class restoration job and give her a new lease of life. Can anyone point me in the right direction to sell a classic car like this? Thanks so much. Mark.

Hi, I've recently brought my Mk2 Cortina (1300 Deluxe) out from 20 years of hibernation. It's as original as can be, with only a single lady owner before me. However, as most of you are aware, the rubbers and seals don't last forever and I'm in the process of making everything water, oil and air tight again. I'm hoping to learn and share as the process continues. Cheers, Pete

First post on the board having had my 1600 Sport for a couple of months. I think I'm similar to many other owners of South African produced cars in that the fuel cap leaks quite badly and its different to the uk spec ones, so if anyone knows of a source in the uk I'd be hugely grateful for the info?
