My son was standing nearby as that gazebo literally took off into the air ... I saw it from our club stand and it was shocking:unsure::unsure: My son said it landed on an Escort cossie and dented the roof

Best thing.... that I made it. Capri broke down 500miles on the way in. Brand new high press leccy fuel pump decided to let go...

Spare one didnt fit so I had to bodge it somewhere on a primary school parking lot late in the evening.

That bodging repair job got me finaly to Classic Ford Show and best of all it even brought me back home to Holland.

Next best thing, meet up with you all again.

Didn't get to go last year despite attending a previous 5 or 6 but thought this year's was just about the best, even the food was good lol, kicking back chilling in the sun, standard of cars was top notch, racing was awesome, vibe and atmosphere was good, burning up likely's on the way there and back is always good fun and the Thames van on CF stand was inspired - VW eat your heart out...

The best bit for me was camping next to a Mk1 escort van with a turbo rover V8 on carbs! That was a thing to behold! Also his mate in the black Capri with the nicest sounding V8 iv ever heard!. Sitting there idling at about 500rpm through straight pipes.  You know when you can literally hear each piston going up and down :worship:

I'm not sure whether they are on here but kudos to you if you are! (the Escort van was red with a recovery company sign writing, cant remember the name though)

I loved the whole weekend, highlight was getting there and back under the cars own power after doing both head gaskets queuing to get out last year :)

Having said that, the car threw a hissy fit as soon as I got home and started leaking coolant :(
