Firstly I would like to thanks all those who attended and your support,

without you lot this wouldn't happen.

I would also like to thank Aled and Dave for the organisation and routes at the wales end. fantastice roads as usual. :)

so here goes,

So at just turned 9:00am I arrived at Telford services ready to setup as I do every year. But to my surprise there was already around 10 cars there ready and waiting. The rest shortly followed and after handing out tour plates and routes we made tracks towards wales in a convoy of 24 cars.

We followed the A5 until we hit the first stop, the Rhug Estate in Corwen. Here I handed out the rest of the tour plates and we headed into the briefing. Aled and Dave explained the plan for the day while everyon had a quick cuppa. We then headed back to the cars ready to tackle Stage 1.

Stage 1.

In a convoy of 47 cars, we firstly passed through the town of Ruthin, followed by a blast around the area of Moel Fammau and the Clwyd Gate Pass. After taking in some of the fantastic views, we passed through the Clogaenog Forest. This is a famous area from rallying. Soon after we arrived at the White Liion in Cerrigydrudion. This gave everyone chance to get another cuppa and have there lunches surrounded by 47 old fords.

Stage 2.

With everyone refuelled, it was time to get stuck into stage 2. We drove EVO Triangle to Denbigh. Personally the best roads I have driven on. Endless twists and turns whilst you can see for miles when overtaking is required. This was followed by an nice steady drive back on the backroads by Llyn Brenig before getting back on the A5 and arriving back at the Rhug Estate.

Finally the awards for the best three cars and furthest travelled.

the weather was kind and only a few had minor car issues.

See you all in 2015.
