There are 2 reasons why I do this. Firstly it generally is a bit cheaper than buying it monthly, and secondly you used to get the current issue before it was available in the shops. Strange my top gear mag comes every month! A family member bought me a subscription as a Xmas present a few years ago. Haven't got the guts to tell them I don't read them, in fact they are in their unopened wrappers...........antiques roadshow when I am a pensioner! I've now just sent my third email to them, and the latest reply is telling me there was an error at the printers and that it was despatched on the 15th October and I can expect to receive it by the 19th. if I'd bought it at the newsagents I would have had it a week. Its not a very good attitude by the Classic Ford magazine staff to just say email the subs dept. I think they should have more interest in their customers and ensure that these problems don't arise again. Hi Mark, I'm quite often as much in the dark as you are - if there's a problem, the subs@... email is normally the quickest way of getting a response from someone in the know. It also means that a specific problem with a subscription has been logged and needs to be actioned.
