khanlad
I cant decide? Part of me thinks what a waste of a good engine, the other bits thinks it will be quite fun?
colr6
Ah well if the cortina never comes back from painting, I've got an option for my engine.
katana
Why not - lots of die hard Ford people fitting Vauxhall XE engines in their Dagenham Dustbins and Duratec's are re-badged Mazda's designed by Yamaha. Now if someone used an MGB engine in a Cortina it would be different!
irishtorag
i think perfect good choice for fun. As a lot of fords have vauxhall engines and honda why not fit ford engines in other cars, there was a toyota starlet at reto stock drift day with built by toyota powered by ford on the rear window and if i remember properly a 240 volvo all cossie powered up last time

Rally Pack 2000
Its a very neat installation and you cant fault them for that. Was a nice attractive roaster with tractor engines so I totally understand looking afield for more sport and less agriculture. While I think Cossies should go into old Fords I have to go with the owner on this, he did make his MGB more cool.

accord83
For a convertible Austin Cambridge I think it's brilliant, now get rid of the body and fit a Corsair shell on to it and I'd get all horny.

chinkamon
They can't be that expensive can they? Every1 knows they were shit when they were new so that makes perfect sense to me!! I used to be into hotrods an a guy had a sit up an bed ford pop an stuck some whacking great big diesel v8 turbo monster in it!! Was clever an wen u sit back an think about it.... it makes an originally poor performing car great to use! Can't argue with that
BaileyMex
It kind of reminds me of one when I was a kid in Mitcham. It was matt black, slammed and loud as f##k. No idea what it was running but it was quick and was driven hard!!! Fair play I say
