my escort broke down a bit (again) on sunday but it's currently in the garage getting sorted so better that it happened then rather than on the tour

it's not made the wife any happier about driving miles in the "death trap" though

Just one day...?! But no idea what the druids get up to.

Those pesky druids, I thought the Romans and the Pope put a stop to all all that sort of thing? They run around in the nuddy at dawn and become one with the earth I think.

Escorts dont break down they simply pause for a replacement part. OE Preferably.

You have to turn off the 303 well before Glasto, so most jams/ traffic should be in the actual area of the Event

"Keith" managed to eat his clutch after the Lakes tour at the weekend so shoved an all new one in yesterday, should be tickety-boo for Friday !

Right, we set off in the morning, so I will see you guys down there. Sorry to say we are staying near Torquay so won't be able to meet anyone beforehand but we will be there at 9 on Saturday for the Grand Tour. Plaques at the ready lads!

I'm looking forward to it, not sure about my gf though haha. Temp is quietening down nicely. We are taking the north road through Bridgwater and then Tiverton then under the M5 at Exeter and out onto the coast road (A379) down past Teignmouth. Never tried any of these roads before so should be fun. Fingers crossed!

1 hour ago I thought I was out of the tour. Wheel bearings went in nice. Single piece prop however........what an absolute bitch. Ended up using a needle file to clean up the splines.

Just want to lie down in a cold place now!!!

Will update everyone on camping tomorrow.

Removing the prop is an odd way to change the front wheel bearings

!!!! Camping Update !!!!

As you enter Riverdart country Park you travel down a track towards the park. There will be a gate house if it is maned tell them your camping on site with OldSkool Ford. Once you pass over a bridge the field we have is the first on your left. There should be signs out to direct you. I will be on site from around 1pm. You can report to me ( Chris with the yellow Mexico ) on the field and I will hand out passes and direct you to a pitch. You DON'T need to report to reception if I'm on site.

Electric points are avalible on pitches but you will need a special converter lead to plug in you phones and things. Campers will be split into quiet and not so quiet areas.

Drivers Brief at 9:30 Saturday morning to update you on the route changes and any other info.

See you tomorrow
