koldo1
Thanks a lot. I will check those stores. The temp gauge and petrol gauge didn't work properly. (Always are hot/full) Maybe the regulator fault. So I will buy one. Also I need all the winshield seals.

HotRodMatt
I'm confused, is my car a RS 2000? it should be because it appears in the documentatión too. But all mk2 with that mouth I have seen, were 1.6 México... I think the very early Mk2 RS2000s had a flat front. Could be wrong though.
Craig89
My understanding is a very small amout of RS2000 were actually built as flat front. Chances are it has just been converted in the past. I have an RS2000 that was converted to flat front for instance Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

John escort mk1V6
You have a nice ride , i did heard once from a ex rally sprint driver that the flat nose RS2000 were build for Australia and it seems that they have also a 4 door model. Rally Pack 2000
You have a nice ride , i did heard once from a ex rally sprint driver that the flat nose RS2000 were build for Australia and it seems that they have also a 4 door model. You have actually been looking at one whenever you view my posts (ie My Avatar). Pointy nose ones are the Rally Sports and the Flat Nosed Mexico styled ones are the Rally Packs. Both in 2 and 4 door. Rally Pack 2000
Oke , yes it be so that i have seen the red 4 door RS2000 here , may be on the Dutch fordworld also ? Yes its certainly possible. I know there was a red 4 door RS2000 someone in the UK imported as there were images of it online at a show. It could be the same one or possibly another. Many Australian cars have found their way to Europe although I havent ever seen any Rally Packs there which have very distinguishable stripes. Vista helps alot of people through here to get the correct approvals for a variety of Australian cars all the time.
John escort mk1V6
Oke , i couldn`t find any foto of it so maybe it was here after all and not on fordworld ?
Rally Pack 2000
Oke , i couldn`t find any foto of it so maybe it was here after all and not on fordworld ? A 4 Door Rally Pack. Mexico Style front with Carello lights but with 2lt Pinto Engine. Distinctive Australian mirrors. Identifiable from other models by the bold black side striping and reversed Escort logo front spoiler stripe so when people looked in their rear view mirror they would read Escort round the right way. Trouble is to fit the front number plate you have to block the decal or put your plate over the open vents. (Someone didnt think that one through) The car was Homologated in Australia as a flat nosed RS2000 to save confusion but was never actually called that here although mechanically the same as the pointy nosed ones. I always wondered why they didnt at least call them 2lt Mexicos but any Rally success of that namesake would have been lost on most Australians. Once homologated people pretty much just built their own throughout Europe rather than import and race the real thing. Four Door RS2000. Very similar decal and striping to the European counterparts although Australian cars have a number of differences. You can just see the long range fuel tank hanging below the boot floor and the number plate folds down for fuel filling. Those wheels are the factory alloys that came on my Rally Pack as well, awful! There is definitely a few 4 door RS2000s in the UK. there is a yellow one a classic dealer was selling and the red one that you mention I have seen as well. Never seen a Rally Pack either 2 or 4 door for sale in the UK or anywhere outside Australia
John escort mk1V6
Nice , just like our Europe Granada mk2 , that looks alot as your Falcons [tru-blu] serie but no the same. And the fueltank is also bigger ?........... becourse your country is so as a hole continent ?
