mk2 escort restoration

Recommended Posts

This is also a top job , i see you still got the drumbrakes at the front and i last time also saw here a mk without a brake booster.

I always tought that all escorts did have discbrake`s , starting half `73 or so.

Just up the road from you, below top end of Rhymney Valley.

Preacherman, Red Mk2 is from Ebbw Area.

A lot of work you've put in to this, great job, it's looking good. I'll watch your updates, see if I pick up any tips. :-)

How can you tell if inner wings are big or small hole?

What are the measurements?

It means that the holes in the innerwings are small hole inner wings  111mm after feb`77 [mk2] , or big holes innerwings 134mm holes [all mk1] these are the mounting holes for the struts/legs.

Yeah early 1100 Popular (and I think Popular Plus) had drum brakes all round.  Worth keeping the original drum brake struts as they are a rare part for a MKII.
