Red Mk2 XR2 reg F220PAR was stolen from the driveway of an address in Hadleigh, Essex between 10PM on Tuesday 25th & 5AM on Wednesday 26th September 2018.

The car has colour coded bumpers, door mirrors, bodykit & rear spoiler & is fitted with Ford snowflake alloys. The car is fitted with a stainless steel exhaust system, black tinted rear lights & clear front indicators. It is also fitted with headlight protectors which is unusual.

Inside the car, it has RS Turbo front seats with the rear seat & door trim retrimmed to match.

The owner has had the vehicle for nearly 30 years so understandably holds great sentimental value to him & his family.

How does an XR2 lose an X5 across a field?

I hope the car is found soon and still in decent shape.

Rich
I second that.....

Really hope you get the car back in one piece and they catch the scum that thought they had the right to just take it

thirded

lots of cars end up at Tilbury, hence its ANPR city ,its a big dock full of container ships, and tbh, not a very nice place, you wouldn't want to go out at night thats for sure, cars aren't the only thing that go missing around there, bet your life that car is now sat in a container ready to go abroad

if the owner is really lucky ,then it will only be joy riders or someone that wanted a car to get home

my daughters car ended up there, it was someone who just wanted a car to get home, but they kept driving it till caught, but wasn't a classic either

Done a few jobs at Tilbury Docks on the container handler trucks and did see few sights.

I was under the chassis of a Reach stacker at 2am in the morning repairing a transmission harness with just a head torch on. I heard a noise behind me and I kid you not, there was a set of white eyes and teeth just looking at me.

"Do you need a hand Boss. I am Mechanic"

To say I sh1t a brick was an understatement. :-)
