So if I email the bloke on fleabay and tell him they were never fitted to a RS so knock the RS tax off and offer £50 the pair instead of the £300, do you think he'll take it?? Trade description act and all that....lol Y may have a point on the speedo front, ain't the cortina Granada speedo the same?
RWL81P
yep most of the speedos are the same. such as old transits using cortina clocks. i have seen those electric mirrors too, i would have a pair but not at that bloody price! like i say. they were fitted to the later black cabs. google a pic and you will see them. but they were electric. and never fitted to a mk2 escort so shouldnt have the rs tax! Rally Pack 2000
You could always pop it into a CN36 and advertise as still in original packaging? Then Triple the price.

Dont need to buy them overseas we have our own specialist RSholes here. (I think that should become the official term for the sellers that charge RS tax)

They can be picked at random as there are various sizes to ensure authenticity, depending on what day they were made. The Friday afternoon sets are quite common, different from top to bottom. As for discount, sorry but these are so rare won’t shift on the price. Put it this way have you seen any genuine gaps the same ? NO and mine are all different, so 100% real.

The gaps on my Mk2 are genuine late Friday knock off early to go to the pub shift. I also have 50% more spot welds on the left top strut plate over the right.
