Rally Pack 2000
Had my Mk2 for 34 years and my Twincam 25 years. Neither finished. But to be fair if your keeping them for long periods like your 20 years getting them finished is a cycle and through the course of time you go through the process of getting them finished over and over. HotRodMatt
I've had my Mk1 since Feb '99. Been on the road a couple of times but spent most of my ownership in pieces. Hibernating now due to life/family commitments.
deltamal
My Father-in-law bought a Mk3 Cortina new in 1976, he passed away in 1998, Mother-in-law tried to sell it localy in Swindon and the best offer she got was a lady a few streets away who offered her £300, ideal to keep her chickens in she said! I collected it the next weekend! Feb 1999, so 20 years and 5 different engines later! still lovin it and used most weekends during the summer

I loved that car! 😀👍

VivaLaRic
I've had mine 5 Yrs now, probably aged me 15 years in that time. A house purchase sucked up pretty much all the money but I've sneaked a few quid away from her indoors in that time. First pic is the day I bought her and second was last summer before she got Gaz front legs and adjustable TCA's so its now lower with more negative camber than I'm sure some people would be comfortable with!
stephens_xpack
27 years and counting, I have had her longer than the Mrs and my 3 daughters. But as mentioned above, because of family life, she ended up tucked away in 98 and never surfaced again properly on the road until 2017 - The first real test being the first tour of the moor that year. I think I certainly appreciate her a lot more because of the long stint, she is part of the family, a Stephens through and through, even on an S plate........ Old Fords, whats not too love? Used and enjoyed.....
