Rally Pack 2000
Oh not the Mk2 Mexico! I really liked that car and hoped you were going to hang onto it. If you sell it to another forum member I wont have to miss it as much.

A Mk1 RS2000 is a beastie I would also like to own though as well. You must have all the good models stashed away somewhere? 25K is very reasonable for a genuine Mk2 RS, its only going to appreciate from there in the future. I like that its already complete and running just needing a slight refresh. Every friend I knew who has gone for the full bare metal restoration have failed and sold them on as incomplete projects. A car like yours is ideal where you can dabble and buy a part here and there as you see them on Ebay and use it at the same time. If I lived in the UK my choice would be between a Mk2 Mexico and a Mk1 RS2000, I don't envy your choice between the two but do envy you have that choice at the same time.
notenoughtime
Couldn’t have put it any better mate as you say it’s reasonable price with a bit of Tlc needed not a major restoration where cars go from owner to owner and never get done my Mk1 will need floor, boot floor, chassis rails to start lol and will get finished lol i can then start the other Mk1 once that shell is done 😳

notenoughtime
Seeing as I keep finding bits I don’t like the buyer is only going to find them? This way I can put it up for what it’s really worth not the bargain at £25k lol
