Required expansion

Due to accumulating so much crap over the years and needing space for the cars and bikes it left me with no working area. So got some plans drawn up to extend one garage and build another. All went well till the building inspector came down to give advice. The spec he required for footings was ridiculous, but you can’t upset these people 🙄 well not till it’s signed off that is 😜 so 24 cubic metres of concrete later the foundations and floors are in. Got the pre cast garage delivered Friday and today was the first dry day we’ve had, so called the boy in and cracked on. 5 hrs later it’s up !! Envisaged big problems as the panels come in at a bit over 100kg each. The 3 weetabix for brekkie paid off! Roof joists on tomorrow more than likely in the rain, but hey ho, us northerners get used to it...lol

I already have the Twincam but desperately need a garage to put it in!

Well, you need something to keep those man eating spiders and giant boxing rabbits out I suppose! 😂😂

The redback spiders nest under the guards so if you stick your hand up into the wing without hosing it out first you get bit! I think they are going to do that whether I have a carport or a garage so in that respect it wont really make a difference. The nearest roos are at the reservoir behind a fence so they arent a problem.

Got the last garage sorted eventually!! Gives me more space for accumulation of crap I have. Got rid of a few bikes to my lads houses, so even more space. One garage for some bikes and the Tina, other garage for the box and the MG plus two escorts and at last one to work in 😁Still got a load of sorting out to do, it’s a wonder the roof ain’t collapsed as there’s nearly a complete escort up there in bits...lol

Love the carpet lol

I think you should paint the brick columns grey in the cortina garage and have some pics/wall art in the middle sections

£1.99 a sq mtr that cost me this morning !! Nearly broke my heart 😳😳

The brown square is to wipe your feet on when you go in !...the wife’s idea...lol

Re commission bikes I haven’t ridden for ten years ! Re build on the box engine, about due after 7 years, it’s getting a bit tired now and want to go tbs and big valve head. Might build a full new engine and keep this one complete as a back up.
