Pics please lol or isn’t there much left

Picking up on Friday now I’ve got the paperwork for it, it’s not a pretty sight. Everything is there and year dated, to say it’s suffered with rust worm would be an understatement...lol But just happen to have a shell waiting to be cut up and make the Harrier good.

Got a pair of new Mercedes spec Continental 245/40/18 97Y Sport Contact 5 runflats for the daily for £90 the pair off FB marketplace. £280 plus carriage if I'd ordered them mail order. Bargain I think.

Boots, 28p for a Chicken BLT sandwich, use by today, eaten today - and I am still living.

And the fact it was 28p, it hasn't gone to waste, and I wasn't even looking for a sandwich - I think made taste even that little bit sweeter.

Damn, it's good to be me right now......

Got the car via eBay at Walsall, originally from South of France LHD Tawny Brown mk1 more door cost me £1800, plus £120 for transporting it up to Leeds, West Yorkshire 👍

Bodywork bit tatty around the edges due to long storage at farm’s barn but engine bay/underneath chassis/floor & boot floor, all doors and rear boot all mint 😁

Oh and purchase 1300gt crossflow engine at £150 too to replace old 1100cc engine

stripped it yesterday to find freshly ground crank new bearings, new camshaft and followers, skimmed head, new clutch, seems a shame I’ve got to by a set of new gaskets lol

Bought a new bag and belt for the missus for a fiver.

Boy she will be chuffed with how the hoover picks up bits now, save her back bending over to brush clean the floor.

Had this delivered yesterday. Been looking to get one for a while after seeing one hanging in a car at a show last year.

Hang from rear view mirror or choke knob?

The Feu Orange Traffic light ones were the most common must have air freshener here in the 80's. What price nostalgia eh?

I sort of remember them years ago, are these things collectors items now or something?
