It was supposed to have been last Tuesday but I could nt get it to run or rev. Found a split carb 2 servo hose. It was a silicon hose that went brittle. Will have to get a proper hose. On a positive the car is going so well. It drinks fuel but the RR and less right foot will sort it.i was out for about 2 hrs on Monday night. The servo pipe split outside the garage but too dark and late to sort before RR. I fitted headlight washers to Brenda. But thats the thing they were JUST coming to look. A bit of window shopping nothing more. Even more so now people are so restricted they will do anything out of the ordinary to relieve the boredom. I must admit to doing the same with a few MK3 Escorts years ago . They were never sold here by Ford so when the odd South African import came up for sale I would go and take a look. It turned out learning more about them proved a good thing as one day a friends girlfriend wanted to buy one so she could fit in with the gang but be different at the same time. Don't go bring any Orion round my house though, with the battery tray falling out on my front yard. The Fiesta on the other hand can break down here anytime... I can certainly see the appeal of a Mk1 Fiesta but the Orion looks a bit regular for want of a better description without creating too much offence.
