notenoughtime
I probably should start a project page lol ‘not another one I hear you say!!’ Some more pics of previous repairs those repairs all need removing so I’m starting at the back and working forward, bubble arches have been ordered from gartrac so will lose the repaired outer rear tub and badly repaired quarters
Johnny Boy
Definitely a more difficult repair , if somebody has had a go before. I've had a bit of that on my Cortina.😬

Johnny Boy
As people have said before, when they were worth not much money, they were just patched up to get though an mot test cheaply. No one did a proper restoration style , cut out, and let in new steel repair. So when we attempt to do a nice restoration job, we're met with a load of patch repairs over the top of the original rust, and twice as much work . notenoughtime
Had a delivery this morning Quickly unwrapped them I’ll start a new build page later with details of fitting the arches Edited March 30, 2021 by notenoughtime 4
notenoughtime
Thought I’d have a a quick go at cutting the arch out, I can then replace the inner tub easier fitted the arch under the quarter as I can then weld to the arch rather than over the quarter which would creat more work to get it to look right Edited April 5, 2021 by notenoughtime
