Hi @notenoughtime ,

Love this mk1, I wish I had the time and space to have bought it!

Sorry this is a bit of topic, but I think you may have removed a crankcase breather/separator and its heat shield from a mk1 focus RS recently... Would they be for sale by any chance?

Kind Regards

Joe

Hey joe probably going to keep them tbh

what do you need them for?

Cheers carey

Ok mate no problem. I wanted to use the heatshield on my st170 mk1 as the manifold runs pretty close to the breather/seperator. Its not causing any issues, but fitting one would be a nice little modification. If you do decide to part with them let me know. Good luck with the projects 👍

Got the gearbox in tonight, thought I had a prop but it’s to long, so will get one on order, tacked compression strut brackets in place just need to fully weld in situ, Gartrac pedal box arrived and it’s a lovely piece of kit

Blimey cracking on mate. Don't the tca's go on the opposite sides when fitting tension/compression struts as those look too cranked where they go thru?

Certainly cracking on with this one and looking the dogs you knows, You running anti roll bar as well? If you don’t you may have to double front spring rate to stop front roll.

Window and door seals arrived today but cage should be being done next weekend so they will have to wait to go in!

A bit off topic but me and a mate bought a Morris minor with a 2l fiat twin cam engine last week so decided to paint it the same as the escort

roof done 46CCBB49-0396-44B9-B4B4-1AE6FA7E9CC9.thumb.jpeg.46c20d8f6c0e79ecb8bc9bfcee1ff78b.jpeg

Narrow 13 degree V4 engine, very rare, looks just like an inline 4 but it is not, it is a proper V4 with a single cylinder head. Very funky.

Bloody hell the speed of this build is cracking, it's taken me 2 weeks just to replace a knackered wheel stud then found a slow puncture so still not sorted 😭😭😂

ROME was not built in one day, its when it takes you 2 weeks to change a wheel stud, and when you stand back, you find you have fitted the new wheel stud the wrong way around, that really spoils your day !!??.
