Mk2 4 door diy restoration.

I'm currently into 2 years restoring my 4 door mk2 escort. Genuine barn find 25 years off the road. Almost ready for paint but for the driver's door. Repaired badly and not happy with it. Really needs a new skin but all I see on ebay are 2 door ones. Anybody know where I can get one at reasonable cost? When that's sorted I can finally paint.

Carey is right, there are many aftermarket items that are really just limited to 2 doors and not available for 4 doors. C  and B pillar trims and guards, gutter trimmings, rear parcel shelves and much more. Getting a whole door though is alot easier than finding a skin for one. And because its for a 4 door it doesn't have the RS tax so you can even get them for a reasonable price. I bought a set of 4 doors will all handles and windows for the equivalent of 50 quid a couple of years back. Had they have been two doors they would have fetched many times that. Funny thing was they were from a genuine 4 door RS2000 here but no RS tax involved! LOL
