  1. Yes! Are you Deon? who had the lockup in South Harrow behind the shops, who was building a 3.0 MK1 back then?
  2. A lot of shaggin' must go on in Feb. I have two mates with birthdays today as well 😅
  3. I had been meaning to do this on my return, so thanks for the reminder. I know what it takes and costs to run a large forum, but the main thing as well as money is the commitment needed by the admin to keep on doing it over and over whilst others come and go at their leisure, it can be a thankless task much of the time.
  4. Sorry, should have read; "descendant of the Twincam which "also" had the exhaust manifold on that side". I guess it was initially mounted that way to get as far away from the manifold heat as possible to stop the heat from destroying the rubber diaphragm.
  5. I buy a few classics from the States on just a handful of pics and a brief description, but I have been lucky so far as I only deal with one guy that I have built up a rapport with. But if I were buying anything in the UK new or old I would 100% want to inspect it first. The only people that buy blind is what I call "Retail People", they are my favourite customer when I sell something 😂
  6. Probably because it was direct descendant of the Twincam which had the exhaust manifold on that side. The first batch of RS1600's were in fact Twincam shells that had the engines swapped out for BDA's. Also early Mexicos were the same, so I guess it was the easiest and less costly route.
  7. Not much to see here, please move along............. 1975 1300 XL Auto 2dr. Has a bit of rot in the footwells but apart from that its a decent shell Im not sure on the new regno lol. Les, Gay or Trans ðŸĪŠ But it is inclusive 😂
  8. Who does that old shed belong to 😂😂😂
  9. Just to say thanks for the dating letter for my Ozzy MK1 Escort. Just got the V5 through 👍
  10. Is a 1600GT a SA or Oz import model? I thought the only 1600GT estates built for the UK, were Mexicos for the Police?? Nice looking car BTW 👍
  11. When the cars are cheaper than the food 😂
  12. Nice Fulvia 😎 Im guessing its not a real High Fidelity
  13. The sealed beams were even worse, if thats possible 😂
