Doc Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 I always remember that Posse said this was not a club but a website when did it change ? You need to be careful here If its a club and fees are being paid whos the treasurer and who are the commitee , also what are the club goals and who will have the books ? Theres tax to be paid on club fees unless your a registered charity . Is there an OSF bank account and will you publish the books to the Members ..... Sorry lads you gotta be aware . A charitable donation is one thing but club membership means its a legal agreement for a level of inclusion and is therefore accountable. doc although im sure i sawa post from Jo saying its all done it only takes one person to drop someone in it and 500 x 12 quid is a sure fire way to get someones attention ..........
escortmad79 Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 It's not a club as such, it's voluntary donations to help with the running costs to keep the best OSF website online... ermm online
Admin Mk2Jo Posted February 29, 2008 Admin Report Posted February 29, 2008 OSF has a bank account, books and approved people to run it. The Inland Revenue also know about the money coming in and going out although it hasn't reached it's first year yet and as such the books have not yet been submitted. It hasn't become a club yet

Admin Mk2Jo Posted February 29, 2008 Admin Report Posted February 29, 2008 Web definition: A car club is a group of people who share a common interest in motor vehicles. (The term is often applied to groups serving collectors of light trucks as well.) Car clubs can vary widely in focus from one to another to suit the owners or enthusiasts, and some of them have criteria to what an owner can own to be eligible for membership. Many are oriented around a specific type, make, model or even production run of vehicle. Others do not require physical ownership of a vehicle. Typically (and historically) car clubs have been non-profit groups run by a group of people (most often elected) who are referred to as committee members.
Rick Posted February 29, 2008 Report Posted February 29, 2008 it would be nice, if there were profit made that it could be used to produce parts etc as a proper club would. obviously they would have to be a universal product though that everyone could use
