Fifa decided against video official, surely this should be used as an example to why it should be allowed. It's used in rugby to give the correct final decision, not what is seen through their eyes, how can they not use the video, when they can't see yet still make a decision?

you are correct on that, 1966 world cup final, Geoff Hurst against Germany, ball hit the bar stayed out and a goal was given , but then again that was 44 years ago and they still aren't using technology.

 

there has been alot in league football but everyone in football has been crying out for goal line technology for a number of years but FIFA have always put the idea down. they have got a money maker in charge simple as that.
