mangler Posted August 13, 2010 Report Posted August 13, 2010 When we lived in Peel,our Cortina MK3 was MAN 2500(satin black paint and Essex V6),our Mini was 3478 MN(our phone number)we moved to Kirk Michael the Cortina was broken and turned into a Kit-Car(only finished back in England by 1991 and retained it's English number plate)the Mini gained 591 KMN and my Datsun 120A had KMN 591(again our phone number)all done for only £27 a time.

I remember Chris said you were gonna go for fiberglass panels on the front, did you end up doing that? its slowly getting there nick, apart from new sills and front valance its still got the same wings on it , although it will ave new ones before it gets sprayed, chris tells me your after that white mk2 tina parked on the prom, if its the same one my mate owned that and put a zetec in it, think he got it off the same guy you bought your red gt from, bloke from onchan?
Nicks53 Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Yeah, Chris was saying he'd bought it off of Billy I think he also mentioned something about it being coated with truck paint to prevent the front wings rotting? Dunno, did have a few that night but bloody hell, that opened my eyes to what can be done; still wanting to get another 'tina so if you hear of any going local, send the good news my way!
