orionmojo Posted February 6, 2007 Report Posted February 6, 2007 i havent a clue what mines gonna have whatever bearings my local shop has, i've got some 'hot pink' blank grips a hoffman crank and the rest is gonna be patched from whatever i have left from my 'trading' days my mate found the frame and forks in a skip and was gonna smack a st of wheels on it, but he didn't realise it was a haro frame and he didn't seem too bothered, so i swapped him for a ruption i had mad out of spare parts

Slik 50 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 Why not get a bike that fits ya? who me?
Guest M.Bird DOHC Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 No m8, i just think grown men on BMX's look a bit odd! Like their riding a kids bike!
Slik 50 Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 Iv always found that BMX seats tend to get wedged right up my ass
young un Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 mines a gt but its one of them ones with biger wheels than a normal bmx so its more suited for adult but its gr8 for me cus its just the right size steve
mr squidian Posted February 7, 2007 Author Report Posted February 7, 2007 well i love being on a small bike .. its like getting in a mk1 fiesta .. or a mini or something small .. then getting on a mountain bike is like getting in a granada or bloody 1600e ive been used to them so long and to be honest you cant do half the stuff you can on bmx on a mountain bike
orionmojo Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 thats rubbish. if your worried about speed your missing the point of BMX lighter, (used to be anyway) smaller so you can chuck em into tricks and stuff, they're about 50 times more robust than a mountain bike (well, maybe some of the cheaper ones) but its like every argument has its pros and cons. new skool or old skool
mr squidian Posted February 7, 2007 Author Report Posted February 7, 2007 bmx = oldskool BEST mountain bike = new skool SHITE
