Nearest towns are Newton Abbot and Ashburton, I'm sure you can find somewhere there. Unfortunately the bed and breakfast facilities on site are already booked up for a wedding that's on there that weekend.

Had a stroke of luck this morning if you can call it that ! The washer stopped spinning so on with investigation found some coins in the filter ha found the problem, start up still no good. Out with the filter again more coins, back together still no good out with the filter more coins! Who needs a one arm bandit with a washing machine like this! All proceeds are going towards the cost of going to this meet LOL

For the moment, there are 40 spaces reserved for us at the campsite, bookings can be made and paid for directly with the campsite. As to prices:

• Prices for weekends in June 2017 will be £27.50 per night (pitch with electricity), this price includes the first 2 persons, additional persons aged 3 and over will be £9.00 each per night.
• Pitches without electricity will be £23.50 per night.

At present we're discussing a  group discount for Old Skool Ford, and where we can hold a static show on site on the Sunday. Hence the delay.

 

For the run on Sunday, we haven't decided on a participation fee for this inaugural run. We were not anticipating levying any fee to Old Skool Ford as such but are considering how we can make it a charity fund raiser. For those of you not aware, our silent technical Admin staff member (Tophon) lost his 2 year old daughter to ARPKD earlier this year (see link below). We've yet to work out the mechanics of it but my initial thoughts are that any funds raised would be donated directly to The Polycystic Kidney Disease Charity that Toby has been raising funds for

Don't worry, none of the spaces have gone yet as you need to quote a specific code in order to book on it...............and as we haven't given out that code yet, none of the spaces are taken as yet.

Ok lovely people. The venue can offer what we want but it means switching the weekend to either 16-18 June ( Father's Day weekend) or 23-25 June which I would think is better.

 

Unless numbers nose dive we will be having tour on Saturday 24 and show and shine 25th

Brilliant, the original date was daughters birthday so would have counted it out but happy with either of those two dates, Fathers day weekend or the next - If I book and pay I will have to have the car ready, simple as that. Let us know when booking opens please.
