Oh dear. Sorry to see that Nige.

Doesn't look to major though and can all be fixed.

What happened?

The car is kept in a barn which has a sloping drive leading up to it, yesterday I decided to get it out into the fresh air and natural light for a bit of a spring clean, in 1st gear slowly edged out straight onto a patch of frozen water, front wheels locked up and instead of turning to the left to follow the drive down it went straight on into a solid Cornish stone wall on the right!

I have spoken to the insurance company and await their decision, fingers crossed that it will be covered and repaired 🤞

Ouch. I had something very similar happen to me in a 2.8i Capri in 1996. It was my daily driver back then. The back end went out on ice pulling onto my Dad's drive in Scotland and I stove the nearside rear arch in. Not happy.

It’s a horrible feeling but as the wife keeps telling me “you didn’t get hurt and the car is fixable”
