RossMK2 Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 I am organizing the midlands to Wales on Sunday 22nd may 2011 Last year had about 25 cars that came on the drive The drive is for ford models first produced before 1980 The cost £5 per car which goes to charity The run will start at Telford services (TF11 8TG) junction 4 of the m54 leaving at 10am so you need to aim to be there before 9:30. SebringRS Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Make that one V8 mk1 escort for us Going from 3.5 to a 3.9 next week, sort the oil leak out, and give us a bit more grunt Even able to get it to a 5.0L with minor work, but 3.5 was enough already
mrcheese Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 Hey Tom, if you want a later block ( no rope seal) i've got a spare 3.5 range rover block if you get stuck
SebringRS Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 We've got one now m8, well will do this weekend Later block, 3.9 aswell Works out £400 for the engine, and £200 to fit it, which still works out better than the £1200 we got quoted to do the same thing But thanks anyway m8
