      i will sent you 5 escort rims, i got enough for you, i will have 2 left, one with a drivable dent in it, i still wil have the capri set, i will fix these for wintertires, and use the 2 leftover as spares, becaurse if we have snow i will go racing on an industrial estate and could bent a rim, never happend in al the year i have don that. i had lots of the rs rims, i did bought them cheap , already sold 6 fiesta rs rims and 20 capri and escort rims, they are difficult to sell, and i have about 20 revolution 4 spoke rims and i can make steel wheels in every sice and et value so i think i got enough. the rims will only sell for about 100/125 euro over here becaurse they need to be painted, in england you can buy them for 15/20/25 ponds a piece for the ones you have to paint. just your choice if i paint them or not, cheers marcel

      Another vote for a cheap analogue dial gauge. A Draper or Sealey is a good shout. I’ve got a Draper that I checked against an old digital, and they were within a pound or two, which is plenty close enough for road use. Get one with a sensible range rather than 0-100. For 26 psi, something that tops out around 30 or 40 keeps the needle off the bottom of the scale where it’s hard to read. Always check cold. Driving heats the air inside and gives a falsely high reading, so check before you go out, or after the car has sat for a few hours. I check every few weeks and before any long run. Stick to the same gauge every time, like Miniliteman said. Once you’ve got a baseline you trust, you’ll soon know if the forecourt machines are talking rubbish.       Marcel, do you mean that if James only want 4 wheels I can have the 5th? In that case I have payment ready, see photo. You can choose between a right leg or left leg. And I will pay for James as well (the arm). Or you can take both arms and both legs so we have sort of a credit with you! Maybe you find some use for the rest of the body ... 😍 PS: issue with sending the grille to Aus was the length (over 1 mtr) not the weight.

      Wow Marcel are you sure you dont want these wheels for your own projects? I dont want to take them away from anything you are doing. Where do you acquire all these wheels? Thats DHL price is really good, Leon and I couldnt get a grill sent without it costing a fortune and thats light compared to these things! No need to paint them, Im happy to have them refurbished. It costs the same whether they are Capri ones or the RS ones so I thought If Im paying that sort of money I may as well spend it on the proper RS ones. I cannot accept another generous gift though please let me know an amount that would be able to get you out an about on a trip you would like to go to! Always blown away by the generosity of people on this forum.
