hi all . just been offered mk 1 escort 1300 4 door . £600 . to add to my collection . i don't know why i bought it , i couldn't say no coz i have been looking for 1 but wanted a 2door , but i couldn't let this one sit in a garage and get forgotten about . It is quite clean just a few small car parking dents (car is sunburst red) . All it needs is a flywheel (if somebody has one for sale) my dilema is ....... 1 - put a flywheel and m.o.t on it and sell - i don't know if the 4 door will sell as easy as a 2 2 - pump lots of money into it and turn it into a tarmac tearing monster which i had planned on a 2 door shell if one ever came up that wasn't silly money . what would you guys do ? i will post some photo's when i trailler it home on saturday

sorry . i spend quite a few hours on scoobies . people round my way seem to be animals with them . it makes a nice change to work on the saph . However motivation is the problem as i am getting older .

i wish i could get my wife out of the kitchen and into old fords . my life would easier . she says the mk2 is too old and bumpy to ride in and the cossie is too scary . i cant get anything right
