Sorry for the late reply. Current suspension is just Standard Nissan S14 just to keep it rolling. Yes the Rear end is IRS. It uses a Nissan 200sx S14 rear subframe. This was chosen as adjustable arms are available readily and cheaply for them and they have a strong drive line. If however you need something even stronger GTR parts can easily be fitted which are practically indestructible. A company called Raging Bull cages here in Ireland built it. They specialise in high end roll cages and spaceframe builds.

Decided to sell my MK1 Escort spaceframe project. built to run all Nissan S14 suspension/subframes.I was building it to run a 350Z VQ35 engine and box but could take pretty much anything. Will make an awesome project for someone with the time and money to finish it. It will come pretty much as in the pictures, rolling but with no running gear. The shell is a steel skin with a fibreglass Zakspeed replica kit. It is located in Cork, Ireland but if it gets the right price I could organise delivery. £7,000 o.n.o. has cost 10k+ to date already. I will let the pictures do the talking

hi this is irishiain let tell you a bit about myself i was born in croydon s.london and moved to ireland about 11 years ago i am 45 and had my first 2.1powered escort when i was 19 . sinse then i have had about 30 different fords all of them modified from 100e's through to granadas and everything in between . i have had 12 mk.1's 5 of which have been vans. at the moment i have 2 mk1's a pickup which i crafted from an elba campervan which has a 185 bhp 2.1 on 48s and the other is a steel bubble arch which i am fitting a cossie tubro to.i also have just finished a 100e with a rs turbo engine .also have mk2 rs 2000 x pack in the pipe lines . well thats the intro over looking forward to doing more posts in the future
