Hi selling my mk2 escort 1300 gl. 50k miles and only one previous owner ! It's now fitted with a 1660 xflow, ported head mild cam,lightened flywheell . The car is in amazing condition and has never seen a welder apart from a pair of front wings interior is immaculate, bar one small tear on top.of drivers seat she sits on polished Rs four spokes and a has been lowered an inch all round, I still have standard wheels with Excelent tyres if wanted . Hi and welcome to my 1700 crossflow engine that was In a hotrod starlet.but will fit mk2 escort mk1 etc . It was believed to been built by burton but cannot confirm this. it was rebuilt six meetings ago. And goes like stink !! The block is the much stronger 711m type and has a t17 casting number , The head has been ported and polished,big valves fitted 41mm inlet if I remember correctly, double valve springs. Steel posts, has duplex timing gear with adjustable pulley, removable timing cover, burton rally cam, lightened and balanced, ultra light flywheel, has a nice pair of Italian webber 40s fitted correctly jetted complete with linkage, electronic ignition, lucas dizzy. comes complete with starter and alternator and is ready to run, (will need new inlet and exhaust gaskets ) the exhaust manifold is NOT included, £1000 ono jnc 9 m25
