startor motor wiring

I am wiring my xe into my x-flow loom and now need help on which wires to use for the startor solenoid. I have two wires from the x-flow, black with spade connector, and black and yellow with a push on rubber connector( like on the dizzy cap) and on the xe solenoid there are two spade connectors and a bolt connector. I have wired the black wire with spade connector to the xe solenoid(bolt connector) and it turns over, but where, if anywhere does the other connection go to, as I'm sure it must go somewhere

Anyone know ??

m8 if it works forget the other wire!

 

 

i thought the black/yellow was coil + and black was starter motor activating solinoid wire!

 

 

But someone may of messed with on the ignition switch side!

 

Dont take this as gospel m8 but try metering the wires out!

yes mate you're right. the black yellow is the cranking feed to the coil. leave it off
