Fuel cap diameter of Mk1 Escy

I'm looking to replace my fuel cap with a crome or aluminuim one. Just wondering if anyone knows what diameter fits the Mk 1 Escy. I would measure it myself but its sealed up since i've the ralloy tank . Any ideas where to buy? I've looked on ebay but they're mostly stick-on muck that boy racer micra drivers love so much. Cheers

they usually come up now and again on ebay if you searching mk1 escort petrol cap. there arnt any at the mo but if ur willing to wait they do come up!

Was thinking more along the lines of a racing type cap rather than factory. It just avoids having to get it sprayed. Will keep my eyes peeled for an OE tho, cheers mate
