Due to changes of plans and after much consideration, I am thinking of selling the RS Estate.

The car is probably the best known of the three estates made by AVO as it was the only white one, and the only one to be converted by them to RS2000 spec. then kept by them for several years while being used by Charles Reynolds. It retains its original AVO/Essex 'VEV' registeration number. Its history has been fairly well documented in many magazines and internet articles, it is a stunning looking vehicle and is no doubt a very valuable car in the history of AVO. I'm truly disappointed that I haven't been able to restor it to its former glory.

The car needs a fairly comprehensive restoration, I would think wings, sills, arches and slam panel would be a must. That said, the rest of the car is pretty solid as it was dry stored for 10 years prior to me getting it. It is very original and pretty much how it left the factory with trim and mods all in place and in very good condition.

Anyone genuinely interested should contact me direct by e-mail. Serious offers will be considered and there is a possibility of most of the necessary panels required to complete the job being part of the sales package, along with all paperwork and provenence.
