coggers Posted August 15, 2007 Report Posted August 15, 2007 Chain Bridge Honey Farm (near Berwick upon Tweed) has a charity open day on Sunday September the 2nd . There will be over 100 "vintage vehicles" in attendance .. I've spoken to Steven Robson the organiser and he's more than happy for anybody with an 'interesting' vehicle to turn up and display on the day . You don't have to have a car with a starter handle , if you know what I mean.. It's a proper family orientated day out though so you can bring SWMBO and the sprogs and they won't be bored looking at cars all day there's music and food tents and the kiddies can make candles from the beeswax etc etc It's 'free 'to take your motor in but with it being a charity do there'll be a few Rotary club bucket janglers on the gate so chuck £3 in their general direction and jobs a good 'un.. for more info see here http://www.chainbridgehoney.co.uk/visitorcentre.asp If you're showing your car you need to be there for 9.30ish..
